Bespoke Medicine Songs for Birth and New Life
A unique, bespoke service that I have developed and crafted over the years and that I now offer worldwide. This powerful intuitive process combines my skills and experience as a Shamanic Practitioner and Luminary Songstress with the healing power of my Voice to create a deeply personal, tailor made Medicine Song which transmits beautiful messages of love, support, strength, light and guidance to your growing baby or child.
This process was inspired by a book I read about an African Singing tribe who use songs to support their community. When a baby is conceived, the tribe create a unique song for that baby and sing it to the growing foetus during the pregnancy. They sing it to the baby when it is being born and they continue to sing the song to the child as they grow. If ever that child looses their way in life, the child or even the grown adult, is invited into the middle of their circle and the tribe sing them their unique song to bring them back to themselves. I feel this is an absolutely amazing way to provide something positive, pure, constant and comforting through a persons life and It is my hope and intention that my New Life Medicine Songs can be used in this beautiful way.
There have also been studies to show that when a baby is in the womb they can hear the frequencies and vibrations of words, sounds and music. So, if you choose to play them their Medicine Song during pregnancy, then it can also be very comforting to play it during the birth and in the days, weeks and months that follow because when the baby hears that Medicine Song it associates it with the safety and sanctity of the womb.
My creative process:
Firstly I tune into the soul energy of your baby and journey to discover the Spirit Guides that are offering their support and wisdom. Be it Plant, Rock, Animal, Elemental, Celestial or MultiDimensional Energies, the messages and wisdom that I intuit becomes the inspiration for the creation of your babies unique Song. The Medicine Song is an expression of Love. This Loving Intention flows through my Voice, carrying the frequencies and messages of the Spirit Guides, and delivers this ‘dose’ of Love and Energetic Medicine into your babies field of awareness bringing soothing strengthening, reassuring and empowering support, wherever they may be at on their journey.
The Song is invariably accompanied by the Shamanic Drum as this ancient Sound brings a soothing meditative quality, transmits healing vibrations and simultaneously assists you in opening your Heart and grounding your Roots, which therefore enhances the embodiment of the healing.
This way of creating has been the initial inspiration for much of my Medicine Music, and so I give thanks and recognition, once again, to my late teacher and friend Maggie, who guided me through The Shamanic Teachings for 18 years. For it was through the experiences we shared that I unexpectedly, in 2009, discovered the precious gift of my own Voice and how it can touch peoples hearts so deeply.
